What We Offer

  • We are a boutique travel planner for integrated tourism services
  • We create custom made unique tours and experiences to suit our guests wishes and personalities
  • We design cultural experiences with a "whole-istic" approach: from basic services (tours and accommodation) to emotional experiences through our recommended activities
  • We give advice on air travel, arrange ground travel within NZ (luxury motorhomes, vehicle hire, motorbike tours etc) and book all the accommodation, dining experiences and activities
  • We also offer fully escorted tours by request

Our Fleet

  • We have modern, new motorhomes, European brands
  • Our motorhomes are in exceptional condition, as they are inspected and commercially cleaned after every journey
  • They have Wi-Fi and DVD player
  • They are "four season", fully insulated and heated
  • We provide crockery, cutlery, bedding and cleaning materials
  • Also, we offer as standard (no charge) outdoor tables and chairs

ABOUT US

We are a family of travel & food & wine enthusiasts, lucky enough to have lived in both the Northern and Southern Hemishperes and to have traveled a lot in between. Former broadcasting news journalists, media executives and communication professionals, we moved from Romania to New Zealand years ago – a once in a lifetime opportunity to take the best of two completelly different cultures. We left the busy media scene in the Northern Hemisphere to find a more relaxed lifestyle on this unique and stunning South Pacific island called New Zealand. We are currently property managers of our own investment, in executive accommodation in Christchurch the main city of the South Island.

In 2015 we found an opportunity to fulfill the universal cliché dream of “having a small family restaurant on the beach on a remote island” and bought a cafe/restaurant which became “The Option Bistro & Wines”. We fell in love with the beauty of Aotearoa while traveling in a motorhome every summer for the past seven years. We created Travelogy as a small boutique tourism operation in order to share our knowledge, experiences and values. In our culture, hospitality is all about making our guests feeling  at home. Travelogy will treat you like royals and this is why it “makes you richer”.
